TEHRAN, May 26 (Xinhua) -- The visit of a high-level Iranian delegation, including Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, to Qatar has helped advance talks with the United States, Iran's semi-official Tasnim News Agency reported on Tuesday, citing a source close to Tehran's negotiating team.

According to the potential memorandum of understanding between Tehran and Washington, the United States would be required to unfreeze 24 billion U.S. dollars in Iran's foreign assets, the report said.
